Refund Policy

This Refund Policy governs subscriptions to the Gefyra service ("we", "the service").

1. Messaging Subscription

The Messaging subscription costs €10/month and renews automatically each month. Billing occurs on the day the subscription is activated.

2. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with EU law (Directive 2011/83/EU), you have the right to withdraw within 14 days of the purchase date, provided you have not used the messaging service.

If you have already used the service (sent or received messages), you waive your right of withdrawal in accordance with Article 16(a) of the Directive.

3. Refunds

Refunds are issued in the following cases:

• A technical issue that fully prevented use of the service for more than 72 hours
• Duplicate charge due to a technical error
• Request submitted within 14 days without use of the service

Refunds are not issued for:

• Partial use of the subscription
• Change of mind after use
• Not finding a suitable match (the service does not guarantee results)

4. Cancelling Your Subscription

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the start of the next billing period — you retain access until the end of the current period.

Please include: your account email, the billing date, and the reason for your request.

We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days.
